What is the Biarritz Petit Train?

No Tickets can be purchased directly on site, at the ticket office located next to the train departure point. Online booking is not available.

How long is the visit?

The standard tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.‍

Is the visit commented?

Yes. The tour includes onboard commentary presenting the history, monuments, and main points of interest of Biarritz along the way.

How often does the train leave?

The train leaves:

  • Every 45 minutes for most of the season

  • Every 30 minutes in July and August

During which months does the train run?

The Biarritz Little Train runs:

  • From April to November

  • Weekends outside of high season, depending on weather conditions

Does the train run in bad weather?

The service depends on weather conditions. In the event of heavy rain, strong winds, or conditions deemed dangerous, departures may be delayed or cancelled.

Do I need to book my tickets in advance?

No Tickets are sold only on site, directly at the ticket office located next to the departure point.

Online booking is not available.

What are the rates?

  • Children up to 3 years: Gratuit

  • Children aged 4 to 12: €5

  • Adults (13 years and over): €8

Group rates are available.

Tickets can be paid for in cash, by cheque or with ANCV vacation vouchers.

Credit card payments are not accepted.

Is there only one starting point?

Yes. The Biarritz Little Train has a only official starting point, located in Grande Plage Ouest.

The route includes the main emblematic sites of Biarritz, including:

  • The Lighthouse
